In accordance with all previous agreements, a group of 4 students and 2 professors traveled to Kranj from the IAAP school “Rifat Gjota”, Peja (Kosovo) on Friday, March 1, 2024. Students Elma Panxha and Elena Hajdari and students Adi Kollqaku and Rinor Lokaj will stay in Kranj for a whole month, until Friday, March 29, when they will return home. Two professors will be with them in Kranj for the first two weeks of the exchange, namely Mrs. Fikreta Mehović and Mr. Lulzim Mulliqi, and the third and fourth weeks of the exchange will be held in Kranj by Mrs. Ganimete Nikçi and Mrs. Rina Vuthi – Hysenaj.
1st day of the visit, 1 March 2024. After landing at the airport, the aforementioned guests were picked up by Mr. Viktor Stare and transported them by van to the Kranj School and Student Dormitory, where they are accommodated.
On the 2nd day of the visit, March 2, 2024, a group of 4 students and 2 professors had a tour of Kranj and a guided tour of the Kranj tunnels.
Day 3 of the visit. On Sunday, March 3, 2024, there was an excursion to Postojna Cave, and the participants also visited Predjama Castle. The lecturers of the ŠC Kranj Higher Professional School were Viktor Stare and Robert Šifrer.
4th day of the visit, 4 March 2024. On Monday, a group from Kosovo came to the school. Director Jože Drenovec greeted them, and then the director of the Higher Professional School, mag. Lidija Grmek Zupanc presented the units and programs of ŠC Kranj. A tour of the school followed, and Andrej Gracelj and Lovro Mohorič also took part in the tour of the technical laboratories. At 1 p.m., practical education organizer Miloš Frelih presented the system of practical education in Slovenia. This was followed by a workshop, where the group wrote down their expectations in response to certain questions prepared by the project’s external evaluator. After the workshop, there was a discussion about the program for the students and the two professors.
Day 5 of the visit, March 5, 2024. On Tuesday, the group visited a lecture and exercises on the use of a CNC machine by Aleš Kozjek.
6th day of the visit, 6 March 2024. On Wednesday, March 6, 2024, the group had robotics training in the classroom 401 with lecturer Domen Kepic.
Day 7 of the visit, March 7, 2024. On Thursday, March 7, 2024, the group continued training in robotics in the classroom 401 with lecturer Domn Kepic.
8th day of the visit, 8 March 2024. On Friday, March 8, 2024, the group attended a lecture and exercises on pneumatics in class. 262, at dr. Kristof Debeljak.
