Mobility in Slovenia – first week
(28. 2. until 6. 3. 2022)

On Sunday, 27th February 2022, a group of 4 students and 2 teachers from the Srednja škola metalskih zanimanja, Sarajevo, arrived in Kranj.

The students Esmin Kovačević, Amina Džafer , Ajdin Čalkič and Mirza Smajlić will stay in Kranj for a whole month. The first week they will attend training courses at the Šolski center Kranj and the next 3 weeks they will do practical training at Iskraemeco.

Accompanying teachers Nihad Bisić and Alem Radmilović will stay in Kranj for two weeks. We have prepared a programme of professional training and jobshadowing for them.

We have already successfully completed the first week of the exchange.

On Monday, 28th February 2022, we welcomed the group of students and teachers at the Kranj School of Education. We briefly introduced the exchange programme, discussed their expectations and gave them a tour of the school premises. In the afternoon, we went with them to the old town of Kranj and finished the tour with a pleasant conversation in the Europa patisserie and café.

On Tuesday 1st March 2022 and Wednesday 2nd March 2022, we organised robotics training for the group. On Tuesday afternoon we went on a guided tour through the tunnels under Kranj.

On Thursday, 3rd March 2022, a group of teachers and students visited LTH Castings d.o.o. at the Trata plant. We visited the tool construction department, tool production, machining and the measuring room.

On Friday 4 March 2022, a group of 4 students and 2 teachers had a short workshop on welding.

On Saturday, 5th March 2022, we took a group of students and teachers on a full-day excursion to Planica, where we visited the spring of the Sava Dolinka – Zelence, Kranjska Gora and Lake Jasna, and on the way back we visited the old town centre of Radovljica.

On Sunday, 6th March 2022, a group of students and teachers went to Ljubljana to see the highlits of the capital city of Slovenia.
